Sofar Sounds music concert, which promotes independent artistes through secret gigs, enthrals city’s music lovers

Sofar Sounds Jaipur chapter was held in the city on Friday evening. The concert, dedicated to non cover original music of songwriters and musicians, is held in more than 350 cities around the world. These are secret gigs in intimate venues across the city that promote independent artistes and listeners, who appreciate this kind of music. The concept took shape in London a decade ago and has been growing since. In fact, Prateek Kuhad, the popular singer, rose to fame through this platform.
The lineup on Friday evening witnessed three acts by Aditya Gandhi, Angad Katari and Saby Singh.
