Old-time classic rock band People that has revamped itself under the name of 4Tune Kookies has come together after a hiatus of 20 years

It was after more than two decades that classic-rock music band 4 Tune Kookies, formerly called 'The People' came back into the limelight with their first single — I Don't Need.
The band comprises of Ronnie Desai (vocalist, rhythm guitarist and song writer), Babu Chowdhary (the lead guitarist), Ranjit Barot (drummer), and Hodi Nanji (bassist). 'The People' which was a very well known name in the 70s had split when the four members decided to pursue their independent careers — after about 10 years of performing together. While Ronnie and Babu got into jingles and later went on to form a radio advertising production house of their own; Ranjit went to Bollywood; and Hosi started working for a steel company.
