Malhar Rang Seasons Melodious Expressions, a concert featuring Santoor Maestro Satish Vyas and vocalist Rashid Khan from Kolkatta, on June 14 at Nehru Centre, Worli will usher the monsoon into Mumbai. Both artistes, have built a substantial fan base and have an uncanny knack of leaving audiences spellbound. Shashi Vyas, Director of Pancham Nishad, organisers of the concert says, "Indian classical music has a strong relationship with seasons. There are ragas which suit the season perfectly. Even as every living being waits anxiously for the first shower, audiences hunger for such musical treats."
