Actors, who usually work throughout the year, take time off during this lean period and escape to other exotic locations to avoid the humidity around monsoon. More often than not, shoots get cancelled due to incessant downpour resulting in actors getting a day off. Another important point to be considered is that many schools do not reopen before the third week of June, making it an ideal time for actors to take off to undisclosed locations.

The actor, who is very particular about spending time with his kids, Aryan and Suhana, will apparently take an extended in London with his kids and wife Gauri. Actor Farhan Akhtar, who has been neck deep in work since the past couple of months, took off to an undisclosed location recently. A source close to him says, "Farhan was exhausted as shooting for Bhaag Milkha Bhaag was very tedious. He wanted to spend some time with his kids before their schools reopen, so he decided to take some time off from work. He will be back in 10 days."
Actor Arjun Rampal, who has been jet-setting from one location to the other, was missing his kids as he hadn't seen them in a long time. After his visit to the Cannes, he headed straight to his sets at Panchmari to shoot for Chakravyuh. He, too, is taking off with wife Mehr and two daughters to Bali for a short vacation. Actor Priyanka Chopra, who has had the busiest year — recording for her music album, shooting for her film and taking care of her father — is currently on a . If sources close to her are to be believed, PC wanted to spend sometime with her parents and younger brother Siddharth and that is why she took them to Singapore. PC, who was attending an awards event, decided to extend her trip by a few days to spend some quality time with her family.
Actor Hrithik Roshan, who has been working non-stop in Hyderabad for a month-long shooting schedule for Krissh 3, decided to apparently take off with family and kids to Mauritius. Actor Emraan Hashmi, who too has been working without a , is apparently taking off on a vacation and so is actor Ajay Devgn. Actor Prachi Desai, too, just got back from a short vacation with her girl gang and is now currently shooting for Bol Bachchan.
