A'bad sees 43 swine flu cases, 1 death in a day

Ahmedabad: The H1N1 virus is spreading its tentacles in the city rapidly. On Friday alone, Ahmedabad recorded 43 swine flu cases and death of a 50-year-old man undergoing treatment for swine flu at LG Hospital. 
It has set the alarm bells ringing as swine flu is an air-borne disease and one might get the virus from anywhere. The heath department of the Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) has started awareness campaign besides distribution of tablets and ayurvedic concoction at health centers across the city.
This month, city has recorded 194 swine flu cases and 16 deaths. This year, 330 cases of swine flu came to the fore out of which 36 were fatal.
