CEPT students make it to the finals of US competition

Ahmedabad: Fifteen students of CEPT University have made it to the finals in a competition organised by the US department of energy. As part of 'Race to Zero Competition', teams had to design affordable zero energy homes in a location of their choice.
Team Kill Bill from CEPT University chose to design an urban single family home for a middle class client in Jaipur.
In addition to the competition goals, they also set themselves a challenge of designing a zero water discharge home that improves indoor air quality beyond ambient air in Jaipur to meet WHO standards.
The students were chosen as finalists based on their design approach and team profile.
