Do not disconnect power for cold storage, says Green Min

Food processing sector in Gujarat received a major boost as the Ministry of Forest and Environment recently ordered to not disconnect power of cold storages, even though the power connection for processing units are being disconnected for violating environment norms.
Recently, Veraval's fishing community had complained to the state that whenever the Gujarat Pollution Control Boards take actions against processing units for violating environment norms, the electricity connection of their cold storages are disconnected, which results in wastage of orders.
