2 junior artists reinvent Picasso’s most celebrated work Guernica

Two girls are studying in grade 11 and are backed by their school in living their passion

Walt Disney once said- If you can dream it, you can do it. Two girls, Ananya Chirag and Ishita Jain from Jayshree Periwal Intentional School dreamt of doing something different and succeeded. Living their passion for painting, their recent artwork is a reinterpretation of Pablo Picasso’s ‘Guernica’. This canvas creation was displayed at the Mool Foundation Art Gallery in the city’s Bajaj Nagar.
The two artists, are studying in grade 11. Talking about her interest in painting Ananya said, “Our school encourages us to experiment with everything. We have used all types of colour apart from oil paints. It was during a conversation one day that we came across this idea of painting a wall.” She added that this was something which not man
