Edu minister Devnani loses cool during meet against child abuse

State education minister, Vasudev Devnani, during the launch of “It takes every Indian to End Child Sexual Abuse” campaign, urged the organisers to not defame the country by stating facts related to child abuse in India. This came after it was stated that India comes second after South Africa for child sexual abuse, globally. This was stated multiple times by various speakers during the launch. The other facts included points like India has the world’s largest number of sexually abused children, as stated by Ministry of Women and Child Development, Government of India.
