Govt machinery steps in to contain spread of virus

  Jaipur: The attention of the state government machinery which is currently busy with the election preparations after the imposition of model code of conduct has been diverted towards the outbreak of zika virus in state.
While the department of health and medical professionals are busy dealing with the virus, the administration is keeping an eye on the outbreak of the virus in Jaipur and which is now being reported from other districts.
Chief secretary DB Gupta called a high-level meeting of departments, district administration of Jaipur and the health department to learn about the spread of virus and the procedures being taken up for its containment.
