Hapless students opting for private coaching to finish syllabus

City-based college students now adhere to private coaching and self-study as teachers of several subjects are unavailable even two months before the final examination. Students of the first year, B.Com pass course at Maharani’s college informed DNA that there is no teacher for Statistics. Also, students of B.Com (H) are preparing Corporate Affairs and Advanced Accounting by themselves. “There is no subject teacher for Corporate affairs. I am taking private tuitions to understand the subject. I do not want to depend on the college until the last moment,” a first-year B.Com (H) student said. She did not want to be named.
