One month old gets new lease of life in Kota

A cardiologist in Kota has given a fresh lease of life to a one month infant weighing 2.25 kg by successfully operating upon an arterial switch that had reduced 40 per cent of oxygen into blood leading to unhealthy and severely disease gripped life in future. Surgery that lasted for about 15 hours from 9 in the morning to 12 at night last month in a private hospital in Kota city is claimed to be the first upon a patient as young as one month baby and moreover weighing only 2.25 kilogram.
