Raj cops bust Illegal cracker factory in Ghaziabad

Owner of a licensed fireworks unit in Kishangarh, Ajmer, had alleged that crackers were illegally being manufactured under its brand name in a factory in UP. A state police team then raided the factory

The state police busted an illegal cracker factory in Ghaziabad on Sunday and seized crackers worth `5 lakh from the unit. Though staff members managed to escape when police raided the premises, a case has been registered and matter is under investigation.
In its complaint, the owner of a licensed fireworks unit in Kishangarh of Ajmer district has alleged that crackers are illegally being manufactured under its brand name in a factory in Uttar Pradesh. After preliminary investigation, police found that an illegal unit in Farrukh Nagar locality of the district was manufacturing crackers with brand name already registered in Kishangarh.
The state police team then raided a house with the help of local police and seized the crackers
