Picking a college
I attended Columbia University from 2008-2010. In fact, keeping in mind my subject requirements, this was the only Ivy League university I applied to. Not to forget, US universities back then were very strict about graduation amounting to four years as opposed to three years in India (except for Engineering students.)
I wanted to switch my career from Public Relations to Educational Media and the program at Teachers College, Columbia University was a very good fit. Some of the most prominent figures in the field of education have in some way been associated with this institution.
