Kharagpur: TMC strongman Srinivas Naidu killed, party demands probe into BJP state president's role

The attack by unidentified gunmen on a Trinamool Congress party office in Kharagpur, West Bengal on Wednesday resulted in the death of TMC workers Srinivas Naidu and V Dharma and also left three others injured.
TMC General Secretary Subrata Bakshi has asked the police to look into the role of local MLA and BJP state President Dilip Ghosh and investigate whether the assailants were local goons or had been brought in from outside. "It is an attempt to create unrest in Bengal. The leader of an Opposition party who has won from Kharagpur has been flexing muscles across the state. We have requested the police to look into it,” he said. Ghosh is the local MLA from Kharagpur Sadar assembly seat.
