Hostel allocates mere five seats for girls and 22 seats for boys for a batch of 600 students pursuing Masters of Law

Due to lack of appropriate hostel amenities as promised, female students of University of Mumbai (MU) pursuing Masters of Law (LLM) have decided to cancel admissions and try their luck in other government universities.
For a batch of 600 students, mere five seats for girls and 22 seats for boys have been allocated in the MU hostel.
The admission process for 2019-20 academic batch is still ongoing, however, it’s expected to be on the line of 2018-19 enrolment that had to strength of 370 female students of 600 and the remaining male students.
The female students, who reside outside the Mumbai region, have ruled out the option of living as a paying guest (PG) for not being economically viable.
