MU Academic Council hails V-C Deshmukh’s OSM efforts

At a time when close to 4,000 students at the University of Mumbai are still awaiting their results, five months after the exams, the varsity’s Academic Council has hailed Dr Sanjay Deshmukh ‘s decision of introducing on-screen evaluation at a meeting convened on Wednesday.
The university’s academic council in its meeting on Wednesday passed a resolution congratulating Dr Sanjay Deshmukh (who is currently being sent on ‘forced leave’ owing to the result mess) for his ‘efforts that led to the introduction of the on-screen marking (OSM) system’ hailing it as a successful practice.
