Mumbai got me interested in wildlife

I am MUMBAI

Yogesh Panhale, 25, wildlife enthusiast
South Mumbai houses a lot of rare species of birds and animals, especially near Raj Bhavan. I like to visit Walkeshwar to capture grey hornbills and peacocks on my camera. It is a sight to behold. Other interesting spots in the city include the Sewri Fort and the Maharashtra Nature Park, to name a few.
Many people living in the city are not aware about how to rescue injured birds and animals. It motivated me to study and spread awareness about the issue. A majority of the rescue operations happen during the festive season.
