St George’s Hospital to restart its urology department soon

After a gap of around four to five months, the Urology department will start again in government-run St George’s Hospital within a few weeks.
The hospital, however, had the department earlier as well, but due to lack of doctors to function the ward and OPD cases, they had to close down.
Currently, a female medical ward is operated on the first floor where the Urology department was located. According to the medical authority, soon the doctors will be appointed and the department will be functional again.
Diagnosis and disorders related to the kidneys, ureters, bladder, prostate and male reproductive organs are treated in the department.
