Facile last-start winner Capote, from the stables of Attaollahi, will garner maximum support in the Karnataka Police Cup, the feature event of Saturday’s races that will be run over a distance of six furlongs here.
The main threat to Capote, to be ridden by Trevor Patel, will be from Nosher Cama-trained Pure Elation and Red Bolt, from trainer Dominic’s yard: the former, who has been tracking well in the morning workouts, is likely to Capote close home.
Irfan Ghatala-trained, Tiberius, competing in the upper division of the Epsom Plate, looks outstanding among a dozen runners and is considered the day’s best betting proposition in the card of eight events. The first race starts at 2:00 pm.
