Rahul Dravid is not just remembered for his exploits on the field, he is to date revered for his absolute devotion to his team and the game. Dravid was a player who always stood up when his team needed him most. For many, he was even a notch above Sachin Tendulkar when it came to Tests.
The former Indian captain’s grit and determination inspired an entire generation of cricketers in India. And as Dravid turned 44 on Wednesday, he gave another glimpse of just how much the game means to him.
While many would’ve chosen to flaunt their grand birthday celebrations, Dravid, true to his style, chose to share a video with his followers on social media which spoke about how cricket has been a gift in his life that has kept giving. H
