Tendulkar Jr set for T20 debut as Mumbai league kickstarts

Mumbai: The T20 fever might have ended in India but the shortest format of the game will return in the city as the second edition of the T20 Mumbai League kickstarts at the Wankhede here on Tuesday.
Hours after his IPL team Mumbai Indians tasted a record fourth IPL triumph, Suryakumar Yadav will be out to defend his side’s title when holders Triumph Knights MNE take on league debutants Aakash Tigers MWS in the opening match.
With the league having expanded into an eight-team affair, the Dhawal Kulkarni-led Aakash Tigers will hope to make their mark on debut.
