Blast in police station injures 1

At around 2.30 pm on Wednesday, a blast was reported from inside of the Dhrol Police station in Jamnagar in which one officer was grievously injured. The blast also led to a major fire in the premises. After the blast was reported, officials of Paschim Gujarat Vij Company Ltd team also reached the site and is investigating the blast. It was later found that the blast originated in the evidence room and that one of the seized objects might be the source. Teams of Forensic Science Laboratory and Bomb Disposal Squad are also on-site.
