Fadnavis cracks whip on babus, sets key goals for Dec 2019

At the two-day brain storming session involving senior bureaucrats, Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis cracked the whip and asked babus to drop complacency. He set goals for key departments with a deadline of December 2019 to achieve them — around the time of the elections for the state assembly. The CM’s message was to further improve inter-departmental co-ordination by giving project implementation a necessary push.
On the concluding day of ‘Transform Maharashtra’, held last week, Fadnavis exhorted bureaucrats to strive for visible and tangible results that make a difference in the lives of ordinary people. The key departments included Home, Industries, Housing, Agriculture, Forests and Skill Development.
