Hindu girl to contest in Pak polls

Sunita Parmar Megwar, a Hindu girl, has picked up cudgels on behalf of the persecuted Pakistan Hindu minority by announcing to contest the provincial assembly elections to be held on July 25.
Sunita, 31, has filed nomination for the Sindh Assembly constituency PS-56 from Tharparkar district as an independent.
One of her relatives in Barmer, Nemaram said that Sunita has created history by contesting election to safeguard rights of Pakistani Hindus. He said Hindus in the Sindh province are being persecuted and forced to sell their properties and migrate to India.
