Now minister seeks probe in fund misuse

The state government has formed a six-member committee to probe misuse of Central fund under the following a recent letter from Panchayat minister Gopal Bhargava to chief minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan.
Bhargava, an outspoken minister and powerful leader from Bundelkhand region, demanded a probe into the misuse of special that is meant to mitigate backwardness of the drought- affected region. The Congress has been raising demand for probe into misuse of fund for a long time. Now Shivraj government's minister has lent credence to the demand.

When contacted, Gopal Bhargava refused to share details of the letter saying "it is my personal communication with Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan and hence, I can not divulge details of the letter".
When asked if he is acting like Opposition, the minister told DNA that "being a minister does not mean that I cannot take up issues plaguing the common man." "No one should be allowed to waste or swindle public money," he added.
