Saturday's court order has virtually brought the curtains down on Bihar strongman Lalu Prasad Yadav's political career.
Fourteen years is the maximum punishment he has received in the fodder scam cases. The RJD chief was accused in six cases.
The fourth sentencing means the 69-year-old will serve 27.5 years in jail. He is accused in two more cases.
The former Bihar CM has been in Ranchi's Hotwar jail since December 23 after three previous sentencing in the scam.
The former Bihar CM's first fodder scam conviction came in 2013, when he was given a six-year jail term. Because of the sentence, he was disqualified from Parliament and banned from contesting elections till 2024.Saturday's order rais
