Purge of bungalow with 11 litres of milk, meetings keep Adityanath busy

Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath entered his official residence at 5, Kalidas Marg in Lucknow on Monday, after a purification ceremony -- in true Hindu style. The rudrabhishek and a series of other havans lasted for about three hours.
Seven priests from the Gorakhnath temple, of which the CM is the head priest, purified the residence with 11 litres of cow milk brought from his own gaushala (dairy) in his hometown Gorakhpur. Amidst chanting of mantras, the priests inscribed swastik signs, considered highly auspicious in Hinduism, on the main gate, which bears the nameplate of Aditya Nath Yogi. ‘Mahant’, or head of an order, was dropped from the plaque. An Urdu plaque of the CM’s residence was also removed.
