Former Indian idol contestant Ravi Tripathi will be seen performing in the closing ceremony of Asian Games at Guangzhou, China on November 27. He’s the only Indian artist invited to perform and also the only one after Raj Kapoor to do more than 50 shows in China. “I shall be singing three songs there —Jai ho by Rahman, a Chinese number that I specially recorded for the event, and the song Teri justujoon from my first solo album Baatein,” says Ravi.  It was not hard for the singer to record in Chinese as he now finds himself pretty much comfortable with the language. Perhaps his fascination for China began when he sang for Akshay Kumar in the film Chandni Chowk to China and earned huge accolades for the same.
