While summer would bother others, students of Little Millennium in Nerul are going to have fun learning crafts and various foreign dance styles during their vacation. The school, Little Millennium Nerul, a franchise of Educomp Group, has started a month-long summer camp on May 2 at its centre in sector 21 in Nerul. More than 40 children in the age group three to eight years have enrolled in the camp.
The camp has been divided in two streams—a creative session on art and craft camp and a separate evening session on dance. The school has tied up with Hobby Ideas from Pidilite to design and execute a unique art and craft camp to bring out the creative abilities of children. The camp has various activities like finger painting toran, candle stand, punch craft greeting, paper quilling, kundan work, ply painting to name a few. Apart from the above mentioned activities, there will be fun filled games like treasure hunt, cooking and summer party to make the experience memorable for the little ones.
The dance camp is conducted by a professional choreographer and covers western, Bollywood, salsa, hip-hop and various other foreign dance forms.
"The summer camp will provide a good platform for children to bring out their latent talents with the guidance by trained experts. The programme has been designed in line with guiding principle of holistic development of a child's body, mind and soul", says Suhani Gupta, director of the Nerul Centre.
Little Millennium Nerul has made a reputation for its high standards of quality child care. The centre additionally offers day care and a host of exciting activities like drawing, dance, yoga, taekwondo, music and phonetics—for kids in the non-school timings.
