9-yr-old gets patent for 6 players’ chess

Hridayeshwar Singh Bhati, a class 4 student of Delhi Public School, Jaipur, has claimed to have received provisional patent for his invention of circular chess for as many as six players. Despite suffering from duchenne muscular dystrophy and being on wheelchair, the boy has made an innovative version of circular chess for 2, 3, 4 and 6 players. “I am very happy to have received the patent and now I am eyeing at permanent patent. Earlier, I shared the idea of making six player circular chess with my father and he has been a great help to me.
