Continuing its endeavour to promote Urdu, Arabic and Farsi languages, the Lafz series will host poet Muzaffar Abdali on January 12. The session, which will be held at Hotel Hilton, Jaipur, will see the poet talk about his work and life.
Abdali, born in Patna, worked as senior superintendent of post offices from 1999 – 2007 at Jabalpur, Ranchi and Aligarh. He also worked as director postal service in Pryagraj (Allahabad), Patna and New Delhi. He is currently posted as general manager of Postal Life Insurance Department.
Lafz was launched by the Prabha Khaitan Foundation, in collaboration with Rekhta Foundation and in association with Ehsaas Women-Jaipur. The series is supported by Sudhir Mathur Sansthan.
