Bhendi Bazaar fire: 2 women die

Two senior citizens identified as Nafisa Gitthan (60) and Farida Master (66) died due to suffocation and 11 others, including two firemen, were injured after a fire broke out in a building at Punjab Mahal, in Bhendi Bazaar on Thursday night.'
The building's power supply was cut off. My sister-in-law couldn't see anything in the dark and was not able to figure out her way out to the building,' said a relative of Nafisa Gitthan, a 60-year-old resident who stayed alone.
