Bikers on a mission

A local bikers club hopes to spread Christmas cheer when they visit an old age home this Sunday

Shedding the bad boy image often associated with bikers is Bisons Ride Hard, a Mumbai-based group of riders that organises rides every month. This weekend, the Royal Enfield riders group will meet up for a charity ride to a home for the aged, Assisi Bhavan located in Goregaon. Deepak Ananth one of the group co-founders explains, "Our core philosophy is to give back to society that has given us so much. In fact, before our group was started each of us was doing some charity work in our individual capacity. Bikers generally have a bad image of being hard drinkers and rash riders and that's what we want to shed."
