Cold war over Maha CM post: Sena, BJP call it a truce

After intense sniping between senior BJP and Shiv Sena leaders over who would get the chief minister’s post after the state assembly polls, Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and Sena president Uddhav Thackeray said the alliance between the two parties was intact and a decision on the top post would be taken by the two parties.
On Monday, Fadnavis and Thackeray spoke to legislators from the saffron alliance on the sidelines of the ongoing budget session of the state legislature.
“Fadnavis and Uddhavji said they and BJP national president Amit Shah would take a decision on who would become the chief minister after the assembly polls. There was no need for any unnecessary decisions and statements,” said a senior Shiv Sena
