Court orders 19-yr-old to ‘distribute 5 Qurans’

In a unique judgement to teach a lesson against spreading communal hate, a magistrate court in Ranchi on Tuesday granted bail to 19-year-old Richa Bharti on the condition that she donate a copy of Quran to Anjuman Islamia Committee and four copies to various libraries of schools and colleges.
Her crime: She was arrested for a Facebook deemed as as hurting religious sentiments and invoking communal tensions follwing a complaint on Saturday by the Anjuman Committee.
Following the direction, Bharti expressed her displeasure over the order and said, “I do not hate Muslims, we believe in Allah and Ram both. I didn’t intend to hurt people of any religion, but the court has asked me to distribute five Quran. I will not do it. Today it’
