Doc’s suicide ‘post’ sends cops into tizzy

A suicidal Facebook ‘post’ by a clinical psychologist sent city police in a tizzy after famed singer Akriti Kakar reported the matter to police from her Twitter handle on Thursday at around 2 am. After Vakola police reached the doctor’s residence, she revealed the Facebook account was hacked by an unidentified person who had posted the message.
The message was posted from Dr Swapna Patker’s Facebook account at around 12.30 am. It read, “Due to tremendous torture and mental harassment, I’m committing suicide. I can’t take it anymore. Goodbye to all.” Akriti Kakar was awake and was browsing her newsfeed when she came across the post. She shared the post and sought help from police.
