Film on 'Made in India' being shot in Morbi

Hindi film Wah Zindagi is about the struggles and rise of the region's ceramics industry

Now PM Modi's Make in India campaign is set to be presented onscreen in upcoming Hindi film Wah Zindagi, which is currently being shot in Morbi, Gujarat. The film deals with the struggles of the ceramics and tiles industry in the region, how it faced stiff competition from Chinese products. It also traces the rise of Indian products in the market after diligent promotion and quality improvement.
The film has been helmed by director Dinesh Yadav and took three years to script. Actors Vijay Raaz and Lipstick Under My Burkha actor Plabita Borthakur play the lead pair. Other cast members include Masaan actor Sanjay Mishra, Gujarati actor Dharmesh Vyas, Rajesh Sharma, among others. The film is to be shot over 28 days in Morbi.
