Gujarati writer makes it to Rashtrapati Bhavan

Dhwanil Parekh has written and published 10 books comprising poems and plays

A Gujarati writer will be representing and promoting ‘Gujarati literature’ in 14-day ‘In-Residence’ programme at Rashtrapati Bhavan for writers and artists beginning March 12.
He is one of the 14 participants from the country who have been selected for the programme.
Dhwanil Parekh, 40, a writer and assistant professor at Gujarat Vidyapith, who received Sahitya Akademi Yuva Puraskar in 2011, said, “I have received the conformation but have not received the guidelines yet. From my side, I will be preparing two presentations as of now. One will be a presentation on my work and other on remarkable work existing in Gujarati literature which others should know.”
