Here’s a very interesting name for a restaurant that is offering some lip-smacking Sindhi delicacies to the city. The name is a tribute to Jamalo Khoso Baloch, a local folk hero of the Sindh Province, who is remembered by the folk song ‘Ho Jamalo’ which praises the bravery of Jamalo. Said to be composed by Jamalo’s wife, ‘Ho Jamalo’ mentions one of his bravest exploits - escaping from the prison of the East India Company.
Hojamalo is located on the service road on the SG Highway, strategically on the ground floor of a prominent building, which makes this place easily locatable.
