New Delhi: Indian agencies have expressed concern over Pakistan using its high commission in Bangladesh’s Dhaka to conduct anti-India activities.
Latest inputs indicate that the high commission is the meeting point where plans to orchestrate terror attacks in Bangladesh and West Bengal are being discussed.
Reports add that the Pakistan intelligence agency, ISI, under the guise of diplomats, are secretly meeting terror groups in Dhaka to organise these attacks.
An intelligence officer told Zee News that a Pakistani diplomat posted in Dhaka held a secret meeting with a Bangladeshi terror group and assured that Pakistan would arrange combat training for a batch of 100 newly-recruited suicide bombers.

Recently, the Sheikh Hasina-led Bangladesh government refused to accept the new Pakistan envoy, alleging that Islamabad was using diplomacy as a cover for ISI activities.
The Bangladesh government believes that the Pakistan High Commission in Dhaka has emerged as a centre of anti-government activities as well as activities against India too.
“This is of serious concern to India as well as Bangladesh. We are aware about how Pakistan is using their diplomats to destabilise India. Most of the diplomats are undercover agents of ISI. There are reports that the Pakistan High Commission in Dhaka is involved in distributing fake Indian currency notes (FICN) as well,” a senior officer added.
Another intelligence report sent to the Ministry of Home Affairs last month had revealed that the Jamaat-ul-Mujahideen, a Bangladesh-based terror group, had held a secret meeting to discuss carrying out attacks during the Bangladesh general elections.
During the meeting, the terror outfit discussed plans to buy weapons and suicidal vests with the help of other terrorist groups in Bangladesh.
The report said that the terror unit was looking to recruit 300 cadres before Bangladesh’s general elections. The group is also trying to conduct a two-week training in Chittagong district with plans to establish 50 new training centres in various districts of Bangladesh with the help of Lashkar terrorists of Pakistani origin.
Bangladesh is slated to hold the country’s 11th national election in the third week of December this year as the term of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina’s ruling Awami League (AL) party comes to an end in January 2019.
