Korean embassy conducts competition to mark anniversary of the ties

Panvel: An essay written on the friendship of two girls, one from India and another from Korea, was selected among the best essays in an essay writing competition organised by the embassy of Korea, to mark the 40th anniversary of India-Korea diplomatic ties. The essay has been written by 18-year-old Debangana Chakraborty of St Joseph High School (CBSE), New Panvel.
Chakraborty's essay was selected as the second best essay in a competition where thousands of students from across the country participated.
The topic of the essay was 'Korea-India Friendship – Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow.' According to the organiser of the competition, students could surf internet for references about the 40-year ties of the two countrie
