Iyer celebrates return to Indian team with 61*; Gaikwad out for 99

Mumbai: Mumbai batsman Shreyas Iyer celebrated his return into the Indian limited-overs team with an unbeaten half-century as India ‘A’ wrapped up their five-match one-day series against the Windies ‘A’ with a convincing eight-wicket win in Antigua on Sunday. With this, India ‘A’ won the series with a 4-1 margin.
Iyer, who was recalled into the Indian T20I and ODI squads for next month’s West Indies tour, made 61 not out off 64 deliveries with the help of three fours and two sixes as India ‘A’ chased down a target of 237 in 33 overs.
