MHADA picks 46 PMGP bldgs for redevelopment

There is good news for the 6,050 families staying in the Prime Minister’s Grant Programme Colonies (PMGP) in Mumbai. MHADA is preparing a plan for the redevelopment of these dilapidated structures spread across the city and has identified 46 buildings which can be redeveloped under the Development Control Rules of 33 (9).
A meeting was held between MHADA officials, tenants of these buildings and political representatives on Tuesday at the MHADA office.
“MHADA has prepared a plan and we have appointed architects to come up with viable solutions for the redevelopment of the buildings. Of all the buildings, 46 buildings have been identified as clusters which can be redeveloped under DCR 33 (9), wherein the tenants will get homes
