MPSC scam: Cop booked for using dummy candidate in ’16

Recruitment of bureaucrats and officers at state level who cleared the Maharashtra Public Service Commission (MPSC) examination using fraudulent means is once again in limelight after the MPSC lodged a complaint against Assistant Police Inspector (API) Dhananjay Fadtare (32) who is suspected to have cleared the exam in 2016 by placing a dummy candidate and also forged documents to avert suspicion. The complaint was recently given to the police by a senior-level official from the MPSC after which the police lodged the FIR against Fadtare at Matunga police station.
