New Delhi: After the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) decimated the opposition parties in the politically significant Uttar Pradesh (UP) in the Assembly elections, political circles are agog with discussions on who will take on the Prime Minister Modi’s juggernaut in the 2019 general elections.
Due to a general lack of confidence in Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi, many opposition leaders have been asking for emulating a Bihar-type grand alliance at the national level, under Chief Minister Nitish Kumar.
