The word ‘doctor’ carries many implications. For some it means god, for some it means life saver, for some it means friend, and for some people it means care taker. Doctors are treated alike god because they treat people and save their lives. Saving people’s lives is in their hands to some extent. Nobody can counterpart the miracle that god does. But doctors have a prospective to at least shoot for it, even if they miss, they land somewhere near god. Doctors give stimulus, zeal and back-up to their patients, to see life from a different angle. This is a doctor’s task apart from just treating his/her patients.
They bestow their whole life to their patients. Once they have taken a swearword to protect the lives of people, they work for it throughout their lives. A doctor sees no time, no rest, no entertainment, but just a main aim to cure the people’s suffering. Even the family of a patient cannot motivate a patient more than a doctor does, because a doctor’s mere encouraging sentence half heals the patient. His hands are always found forward for accepting any kind of challenge.
Doctors help people without expecting much from them. They just want that their patients to be confident enough to face every challenge in life and be ready to brazen out every situation with courage as it is said “Man is Mortal” so nobody can defy fatality but we can get the valour to face it with smiles. When a doctor has to decide one among their profession or family, they proudly choose their profession, because their work is to save people’s lives and to serve up humanity. A doctor’s supervision can have thespian upshots on a patient. If doctors are active, their patients are active.
Lifestyle is the origin of many of the diseases. So lifestyle has a role to play in our lives. A doctor’s duty is not only to care for their patients, but also to counsel them time-to-time about various precautions that can be taken while at home or while a doctor is not available around in any emergency. But ultimately a human is responsible for his own health, bad or good; it is in a person’s hand to keep up with good and well being, in a hygienic environment.
