Angel Braganza's hat-trick ensured that Father Agnel beat Sea View in the MDFA Bombay Gym women's football tournament at the Bombay Gymkhana football grounds on Saturday.
However, it wasn't all smooth sailing for Fr Agnel, as they went into the first half with the scoreline reading 2-2. Father Agnel side scored the first two goals early in the match, but Sea View bounced back, thanks to goals by Jenifer Rayyar and Laura Estibeiro.
The second half was tougher than the first as both the goalkeepers got their acts together after a poor first half. Josline D'Souza of Sea View and Candice Fernandes of Fr Agnel were guilty of erring while goals were scored in the first half.
