Mithali Raj, reinstated as the Indian women's cricket captain, said that the 15-member team is confident of doing well on the tour of England that includes two T20Is and five ODIs from June 26 to July 11. The team left for England in the early hours of Thursday.
"We had a good preparatory camp in Mysore (June 5 to 15). Fortunately, the conditions were overcast for the first few days, similar to England. We played practice matches against the state boys' teams. Those should give us the confidence of doing well in England," Mithali said here on Wednesday.
