Mumbai: Going by numbers, the Indian pacers’ performances in nine home Tests this season will pale in comparison with the those the spinners throw up.
In the three series - against New Zealand, England and Bangladesh - Ravichandran Ashwin, Ravindra Jadeja, Jayant Yadav and Amit Mishra have taken a combined tally of 121 wickets whereas the speedsters Ishant Sharma, Umesh Yadav, Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Md Shami have accounted for 45.
